Does anybody know anything about this company? Their site and Facebook are somewhat bare. I'm half convinced this could be an offshoot of Castle, maybe an in-house race team? |
I have one of the ESCs. I'm happy with it so far though I haven't gotten much testing with it yet. Ohio weather.
They include the castle link programmer with it. The castle wireless programmer does not work with it. I don't much about the company/group that is producing it. |

What cap pack did you pick? I see the castle 4-cap packs being used but I'm not sure if they're the 8s or 12s versions. I'm also tempted by the DRK cap pack I've got laying around... and then there's the R1 30 gram...

I went with the castle 8s pack, seeing as it's matched to the esc. I've tried to find some info about mixing capacitors but nobody agrees whether it's a good idea or not.
Anyway, got it all soldered up and ready to program (castle link included with the esc was nice, even if I already had one)... and ran into a problem... my laptop wouldn't pick up the castle link. Tried my desktop, no problem. Went back to the laptop, tried a different USB port... AH! DO NOT TRY TO CONNECT CASTLE LINK (USB) TO A USB 3.X PORT. It seems to only work on an old USB 2.x port. |
