-Hobbywing Max10 SCT ESC with 3660 Motor.
-RX/TX- Radiolink RC4GS
-Power button does not work, SET button does work.
My issue:
Red flashing light with no throttle upon plugging in the battery to power on the ESC-Zero throttle, full steering.
What I have done so far with no solution:
Throttle calibration steps I did:
1. Hold down the SET button and plugged in the battery with the controller at neutral (red light began to flash and motor beeped indicating it was in throttle calibration mode)
2. Left the controller at neutral, all end points and trim set to 0.
3. Pressed the SET button to confirm neutral position..... There is where my issue starts.
Once I press SET to set the neutral point, the GREEN LED does not come on nor do I get a BEEP. Basically it is not accepting the neutral set point. At this time after the LED goes off, the ESC has no lights on and no throttle still. I then disconnect the battery and restart from step 1 and it does the same thing. Will not accept neutral range.
Could this be a controller communicating with the ESC issue to where it wont accept neutral range on the RC4GS? Has anyone used this controller with a Max10 and had this issue?

Just for poops and laughs, start from scratch. Bind Tx/Rx. Now, swap your receiver's channel 1& channel 2 inputs (ESC plugged into ch. 1, and servo plugged into ch. 2). Trims all zeroed out/neutral, and endpoints/dual rates maxed out. Try to calibrate ESC's throttle range using your transmitter's wheel to see if you can get neutral signal.
I have a Radiolink RC3S that has a semi-failed trigger potentiometer after one year of use. The neutral point is basically hit,or miss. Trying to get speed control to go into reverse almost never happens, as well as control of light braking (0~50% braking force) is pretty much non existent. Let's just say my thoughts on Radiolink's quality is not what it used to be.

Your steering servo goes left or right tells me that your TX and RX is not binded. Redo the binding procedure on TX and RX. Binding your steering should operate centered. Then redo configuration of your trigger and ESC. Follow manual on Max10
