Hello everyone,
I recently got myself the RC car I dreamed about as a kid:
The Tamiya classic Mini.
I found a used model in good shape. It has the standard silver can motor but it needs a speed controller so I am looking for some advice about what to get.
My goal is to get the Mini running but I am not interested in competition performance at all.
Just something I can cruise around with.
That doesn't mean it should not be fast, but my budget is limited so I am primarily looking for a cheap ESC that fills my needs.
I want to run the Mini on Lipo Batteries I already have, so LiPo cutoff would be nice.
I have an external alarm module that I could but I preferr to have that feature built into the ESC.
On another model I own I find it a little annoying how long it takes to change between forward and reverse driving, so it would be nice if the ESC allowed that a little smoother.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Best regards
Ier

I know this is going to get others saying noway but Id look on amazon you can buy a cheapo esc with the options you want like lvc easily go into reverse..fpr about 30$.. or you can go much better for way more.. a battery buzzer is also a option for lipo cuttoff or alert .
