Default Dumbo RC X6

Hi community,

I need a little help.
I changed my receiver and transmitter from the stock Dumbo RC X4 to the X6 with gyro.
On my X4 I was able to use Channel 3 to turn the lights on and off (with a CH3 switch). On the X6 this is not working somehow. Channel 3 or 4 won't allow me to switch the lights on or off. It only works on Channel 6, but I can't use Channel 6 for the lights as I wanna use the gyro.
The goal is to have the front and back lights on CH3 (with the switch) and an extra lightbar on CH4, CH5 for a motor fan and CH6 for the gyro.
Any idea what the issue could be and how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance

Did you get a whole new TX/RX pair or just the 6ch receiver? The 4ch transmitters may be quite different inside even though they look identical.

I have about 5 Dumbos and they're all over the place in quality. I could also never get channels 3-5 to work right. Your problem could be a crappy receiver or your switch could have burned out.

They also have a lot of weird modes and very unclear instructions, you could have ended up in tank mode (making ch3 a throttle channel?), or drift mode, or who knows, while trying to turn on the gyro.
