Default Electronics for 1:8 buggy

I’ve been reading up and asking questions at the local indoor track.
Most posts say that any of the 1:8 kits are competitive. I will be going with the TLR 8ight XE Elite since my buddy runs that, making the spare parts pool bigger.
For power I am leaning towards the Hobbywing Xerun Pro/G3 combo and 4s.
I just can’t decide on the kv. 1900? 2000?
Am I just splitting hairs?
Oh, I guess I should mention that I do not have immediate plans to take part in the races, just practice nights at the indoor (and outdoor in the summer) track. But my goal os to have this be capable.
Steering servo suggestions have been all over the place:
AGF A77BHM
AGF A81BHSW
Tekin T-250
Protek RC 170SBL
Any input on the servo would be appreciated too.
