Default Tekin RX8 data logging?

Hello. I own gen 1,2 and 3 rx8's. I've never been able to get the data logging feature to work like I think it should. After erasing previous data and running, it seems that my gen 3 only has been logging maybe 3 minutes of 10-12 minute runs. What am I doing wrong? Same appears to be true for my gen 2, only logs a fraction of a run. Thanks in advance!

I've never actually seen anyone in person or online share a Tekin datalog so I assume it's an extremely limited "feature". Earlier this year one of the local Tekin drivers tried to log a run and he couldn't even get it to work.

To reset logging press and hold the inc button while hot and ready. Let it chime and your good.

Is it not the same as erasing data on RC8 via PC?

I've used it with my RS Pro BE and had to decrease the sample rate to get full runtimes also turning off the throttle log will increase the amount of time the system records. You will still be able to tell the straights from the rpm line. I got the function to work on both PC and Android phones.

One erases logging data at the ESC while powered on and the system has chimed off the motor, press and hold the INC button for two seconds until it chimes signaling logging data has been erased.

the pc software does not offer a erase data option that I can see, however can select what monitors to turn off/on to conserve ESC memory space.

Tekin's description about setting the sample rate can be found on their website at the link below:
https://www.teamtekin.com/datalogging.html

Also, the Tekin data logging can be exported to a .csv file. An advantage of this feature is that data from multiple runs can be processed outside of the Hotwire software (e.g. your own programs). An example comparing NiMH and LiPo battery performance with the data exported to a .csv file and imported into Matlab, can be found on the RC10talk.com forum at the following link.
