Which battery is better

Have a choice between two LIPO 2s 7.4V batteries, which one is better?

1) 5200mah 50c

2) 6000mah 80c

Which one is better and why?

The 6000 will be slightly better, longer runtime, higher current draw and won't fade quite as fast.

It depends. If we're assuming the lipos are the same brand and series the bigger lipo would have longer runtime but not necessarily more punch because C-rating only comes into play when there's a certain amount of demand on the lipo. (current draw / motor KV) If there's a significant weight difference that comes into play as well.

Now, if you're cross shopping different brands then it all goes out the window because MAH and C-ratings are arbitrary so they can't be compared across brands.

If this is for racing 1/10 I would go for whichever pack weighed less.

Of course 6000mah 80c. The model is newer. And the specifications are all on the high side. I use it myself. And very happy. The charge lasts longer and does not fade so quickly. And not as heavy in weight.

Regardless, the 6000mah will give a longer run time. As for 50c and 80c, that all depends on what motor you're running. If your running a stock type motor then you will not see much of a difference. If you're running a lower turn motor, then you will see a difference on acceleration and not much anywhere else. depending on the difference in price is how I would make the decision.
