M17 problem.

M17 problem.
Anyone with a M17 that can help? Mine will not let me select the throttle percentage to turn it up or down. Can change brake with no problem but if I go up to throttle I either can’t get to it or it switches right back to brake even if I go and select throttle before it switches it will go to brake
