Hello. I'm setting up a 1/10 drift car and I wanted to try Sanwa for every electronics part.
I have:
Tx: MT-44
Rx: RX-482
ESC: SV-D2
Servo: PGS-LH II
Gyro: SGS-02
I wanted to get the best response modes possible for servo & esc and the possibility of programming ESC, gyro and / or servo with the Rx (I don't even know if it's possible to do it with all 3 elements). I'm trying to follow all the documentation I have but still not sure which one is the right way... docs are sometimes hard to follow and not very complete explaining what is SSL, CODE AUX, CODE10... I'm getting and approximate idea but still I'd like to check with you. Right now I have my setup like this:
Servo (out) -> (servo in) Gyro (servo out) -> (channel 1) Rx (SSL input) <- (throttle) Esc
Gyro (SSL out) -> this cable is not connected to anything, if connected gyro stops working at all... no idea. I though I had to use a Y harness cable to connect both servo & esc to SSL input, but if I do this, gyro doesn't recognize my steering input and wheels don't even move.
Any help? thank you.

I am not familiar with the specific gyro you are using but based on my experience with other gyros in the past I know that it's necessary to have very little gain adjustment to work properly. As you shake the gyro, you should see the servo counter steer automatically, here's an example:

Use a y connector and attach both to ssl port. The servo will need to be programmed to be on ch2 for ssl. Theres maybe two videos on youtube that show how to do it, would be nice if it was a more well used so there would be a larger knowledge base on it.
