ESC iPhone friendly

What esc are iPhone friendly?

Maclan are only android from what I can tell

Tekin requires PC for firmware updates-
(would’ve gotten another one if iPhone compatible), but allows for programming on iPhone

Hobbywing OTA allows for Bluetooth connection with iPhone for updates and programming

any other options?

The Hobbywing Axe is a crawler ESC but allows for direct bluetooth programming of the ESC with no adapter required.

A good option is just to buy a cheap windows or android tablet or phone and using that to run your programmer for the esc.

Hobbywing via the HWLink adapter. Works flawlessly on iOS. The adapter can be mounted onto the car if desired but there's really no need as its easy to connect and disconnect.

Built in WIFI? Boy talk about a way to cheat. Make it though tech on blinky mode. Put car on track. Have someone wirelessly turn on boost before the race starts.

I don’t know about the Wi-Fi, but the OTA module is the size of a transponder

it would not make it through tech

Thats what I'm saying. If an ESC has built in WIFI, it would probably make it through tech vs a big dongle hanging off to the ESC like the HW.

I have the V.1 HW WiFi module. Works great with my iPhone and Pro-stock and Pro G2 ESC’s. No reason to update to the new OTA. Just get the new app.

🤷‍♂️ Bluetooth ... WiFi ... same difference

You're absolutely right, finding an ESC that's fully iPhone-compatible can be a bit of a challenge. Hobbywing OTA is definitely a great option since it offers Bluetooth connectivity for updates and programming directly from your iPhone. Another handy feature for iPhone users is speaker cleaning, which effectively clears dust, water, or debris from the speakers using sound waves. If you're interested, you can check out https://watereject.top for that.
