Protek 130 T servo service?
#1
I have a Protek 130 T servo that is barely over the 1 year warranty. And it doesn't come back to center like it should. I turn left and when it comes back to center it's 5 degrees or so skewed to the left. And when I turn right and back to center its 5 degrees skewed to the right. At idle, it's totally solid. Not twitchy like old worn out servos get. Question is, can you send a servo in for service? It's been in a 2 wheel buggy the whole time and never abused.

After warranty it will be completely up to protek to repair for free or offer a refund. Maybe there is a defect I am not sure? did not hear of any recalls.
Of course they will likely take it to repair or replace at a price or a discount replacement.
I don’t think a new gear set will fx the centering issue.
another thing to try is feel the servo as you slowly move it thru the Full swing back and forth feeling for bumps or weird slight vibration or grumbles. Slowly move it full swing off and fill us in on how smooth the non-powered action is.
