Smallest 4S capable brushless esc
#1
I remember my Tekin Mini Rage being 4S capable, and I’m pretty sure I ran a Mamba 25 on 4S with the BEC disabled in a 1/10 ST back in the day. Not seeing any 4S options in the 1/18-1/16 platform now, but I’ve been out of the hobby for awhile. Anything out there?

This is designed for 1/10 cars, but might be small enough to fit a 1/16:
Size( length X width X high): 47x41x29mm

If you can live with 3S, this one is a little smaller:
Size( length X width X high): 45x32x20mm

Depending what you're using it for, this is very small but crawler focused and for brushed motors... https://holmeshobbies.com/holmes-hob...r-br-mini.html

The extra voltage has to be dealt with when stepping down to the 5-6V to run the steering servo, which results in extra heat. A lot of esc’s could run higher voltages as long as the internal BEC is disabled.

Our current smallest 4s ESC is the Mamba X.
Length: 2.14" (54.4mm)
Width: 1.39" (35.2mm)
Height: 1.18" (30.0mm)
No need to disable the BEC on the Mamba X because the BEC is rated for 8A at up to 6s.

Thanks for chiming in Robert. I’ve been meaning to reach out before moving forward. I was actually involved with the original Mamba 25 and Mamba 1/10 scale esc’s. When Shawn left, I lost my main technical contact there. Haven’t seen Patrick in ages either.
