I just picked up this charger and went to charge a 7800mah smc 4s battery at 1c, I get to about 98% and nothing really happens, I'm not sure if its balancing or if there is some other issue going on. The battery was at 98% after 20 mins or so and i let it go another 20 mins and nothing else happened. If i'm not mistaken, it balances at the end of the charge?? Should i let it go longer? The amps fluctuate around .1 or .2 and the cells never fully reach 4.2, they are at about 4.17.

How old is the battery and what are the IR readings on the individual cells?
