Calibration

I got a new receiver because the last one shorted the new receiver is a fs-Gr3e reason i got this is because the transmitter is backward compatible (its a redcat RCR-2CE) i was able to bind it but when i try to calibrate it to my Max 8 it wont do anything i can set the neutral but froward and reverse don't want to set, only way i can set it by maxing out the trim for the throttle and once i do that and zero the trim it wont move the tires or move them slowly can anyone please help i been trying to figure this out for 3 hours now and nothing i seen so far online has helped

Try reversing the th direction. and zero out the th trim setting

i already tryied that but no matter what i do when its in calibration mode i have to use the trim to set everything and i dont know why its dosnt recognized the throttle

Check that the throttle endpoints and dual rate settings are maxed before calibration?

Swap the ESC and servo from port and check what the servo does by moving the throttle.

And are you sure you have connected the plugs in the right ports?

I went and tried it and the servo bearly moves and both channels I noticed like the receiver has no power. And I can't even calibrate it on the steering channel like I did when my last receiver went out

Do you have a voltmeter to check the voltage going to the receiver?
It looks like the BEC of the ESC is damaged.

Okay I'll see if it's putting out voltage but what I don't get is when I had my original receiver that came with the remote it was fine it had no problem calibrating but I did have to use channel one witch is steering bc my 2nd channel was shot but it was fine and had no problems could it be that it's the receiver?
