Default 2X Airtronics M8

I have One Pristine M8 with all literature, servos, like new package. I must have bought it and set it aside for some reason. I also have another used, but also in pristine shape. The reason for my posting is that both of their LCD have gone blank, there's no leak. One of them momentarily will show the characters, but in a "flooded state. I'm hoping by posting here that someone has had this issue and corrected without replacing the LCD. If replacement is what's needed, then maybe someone can direct me on directions and parts availability.

Thank You,
JLR

Are the M8' S truly just a collector's item now? Forgive for asking I've been out of the game for a while!!

Screen failure (blocky/inclomplete display to full failure) is a common failure on the M8 (It happened to the M8 My kid was using for 6 years about a year ago). Not sure if Sanwa USA has any screens left since the radio has been discontinued for about a decade. The radio was great, but without the screen, it is not really useable.

If you find a repair solution I'd love to know what it is as I still have the M8.
