Default Motor timing question

So my motor won’t turn all the way to zero degrees but it will go past the highest point I e looked but I can’t seem to figure out if it’s just the way it’s installed ?

Probably it's the way it's made. What motor is it? There's little to no reason to run 0 degrees of timing on the motor. You usually want 40-50 degrees of advance. But every motor is different.

You don’t want that much timing on a mod motor 10-30 degrees typically

around 40 degrees it will be efficient if you gear it for low rpm. Somewhere between 40 and 50 you will get the most power under the curve and retain some efficiency. Closer to 50 you will extent the rpm out but lose low and mid efficiency.
