also verified no binding in the steering links with the servo arm disconnected?

I once had centering problem after a big wreck and it turned out to be a bent steering post mount, was able to trace it down after disconnecting the servo arm and found my links were binding up.

yes definitely no binding. I’m ocd about everything being free. Steering and suspension wise. Lol

Running out of ideas... probably wouldn't hurt to experiment with a different brand of servo.

I recently started testing the Team Powers Servos in my 1/10 cars and they have been doing very well for me :)

Biggest selling point for me are gear sets are only $13 making them one of the most affordable servos to maintain over the long haul, though I was only recommended these servos by another sponsored driver in my area, I only have a handful of race days on them so far no complaints!

Are you using the right servo horn with the right number of teeth on the shaft?

yes 25t for a 25 spline servo

My AGF servos that have a magnetic sensor rather than a pot are super smooth and never jitter or struggle to find center. The latest Blue Birds (BLS-30A etc) are super as well. My Highest servos have started to get a bit jittery. :(

i do not use sr mode because I actually turn down my speed on my servos for clay racing. (I was having these centering issues before turning down servo speeds)

all the servos I run are brushless

the response mode does not effect transit speed just better connectivity

do you know what other servos are Made by highest ?

Protek plus a few others, My understanding is Protek is using the latest HighestRC servo tech. I ran highest servos when they came out, the really expensive 1/8 ones and mine were great initially but eventually wouldn't center and then burnt up within a few months(if you research you can see the issues Reno, Ronnefalk and batlle had with them awhile back.)
Protek had the same issues when they first released their servos

Are you by chance using HV settings or standard? Wonder if fluctuating voltage or amp draw could be part of the issue.

for 10th scale I just use 6.0 bec

Recent Protek's? In the last two years I have had four Protek servos. No issues at all.

yes still have the same problems I just witnessed a video by a racer posted on a Facebook group and some others having the exact same issue they jitter and shake until a force is applied to the wheels like someone grab a wheel quick. It seems to be a common issue

Hmmm. I recently bought a new Protek 160t. When I first plugged it in it jittered a few times. I again bound the radio to the receiver, and reset my radio endpoints to the esc. No issues since.

the issue with the Protek servos doesn’t happen initially when new it takes some time but they get bad
