Xr8 Sct, Hobbystar Pro4 4300kv Cogging
#1
I just soldered up a hobbywing Xr8 Sct to a Hobbystar 4300kv 550 sensored pro4 motor and I'm having a issue with a cog at low throttle. I tried unplugging the sensor wire and the cog went away. I have also tried another sensor wire and the result is the same. I'm thinking the motor has a bad sensor board, what do you guys think? Anyone else have this issue?

I've had the same thing happen with my XR8 SCT and a Surpass motor. Using a SkyRC TS150 with my other Surpass motor and it's smooth using the sensor wire. Since Surpass makes the HobbyStar motors it must be a compatibility issue between them.

Just got it straightened out, it was purely my fault, I mixed up two wires when I was soldering. I reversed the A and C terminals. I soldered the center (B) terminal first and somehow mixed up the other two. I was just reading other threads about it and seen someone else mixed up two wires so I figured I'd double check and sure enough I screwed it up. Thank you RCTECH for saving me once again.
