Hey all,

Anyone have success in swapping the hand grip? Trying to is fall the larger grip. I tried and don't want to damage anything but it's really in there pretty tight. Any tips in removing it?

Cheers!

Removing that grip is ridiculously tough! I thought that I would break the transmitter for sure! I ended up using a hair dryer to heat up the grio and soften it up. It came out right away.

I'm surprised that so many of you are having trouble removing the grip. I don't remember it being difficult on mine at all. You just have to figure out where the tabs that hold it in are and you can tell that from the replacement grip.

Just received a product notice that I need to unsub from but, the Noble is back in stock at HobbyKing USA warehouse.

Expo + or -?

Looking to soften initial steering and throttle. Will going + on both steering and throttle soften initial turn/power?

JatoSCT 09-08-2020 03:03 AM

If anyone is interested, I'm going to be posting my nb4 with a case and 5 receivers in the for sale section today.

What you want to add is expo and these radios are similar to Futaba in that to add negative expo, you must hit the "+" key. On alot of radios, to achieve negative expo, you would use the "-" key.

So I will still be selling my nb4 after I get my spektrum. Awhile back I posted about the sw1 switch being broken. Flysky told me to try to find a replacement switch from an electronics store. Anyway I found them on ebay. I had to order 10 of them. I took the wheel portion apart last night and identified the issue as 2 of the tabs on the small joystic base broke off inside the switch. Once the switch comes in the repair will take about 10 minutes. If anyone has had either the sw1 or sw2 break I will have a few replacement switches and if needed ill even make the repair for you if you want to send me the wheel section of the remote. Ill try to post some instructions and pictures of the process.

I may be interested in buying your NB4, if you do sell it. Please let me know.

8.3.0
Anybody had success driving external inputs to the NB4 like you normally would via a trainer port? I am specifically looking for a way to hook up a Quanum 3 Axis No Drift Head Tracker to control an FPV pan and tilt system I have on my RC truck. Everything I can find has it utilizing a DSC port, which the Noble NB4 does not have. Appreciate the help.

Is there a way to monitor my cars battery voltage with the nb4 like how the radiolink rc6gs v2 does? Can I just buy a tx/rx type receiver from flysky and connect the battery to the batt input on those receivers?

8.5.1

Yes, you can hook up their voltage sensor (FS-CVT01) to the sensor port on any of the flysky receivers and plug the pins on the sensor end into your battery's balance plug. The sensor is available on Amazon.

There were some issues with the V1 receivers. The V2 receivers fixed those issues. Everything is solid and some early firmware bugs have been ironed out.

Telemetry Sensors

I was looking at the specs on the telemetry sensors and it seems their max voltage from the ibus is only 6.5 volts. Most of my ESCs are set at 7.4 volts. Has anyone tried the sensors with a high voltage setup?

MODEL: FS-CTM01 Temperature acquisition module

Monitor range of temperature: -40-250°C
Power: 4.0-6.5V DC
Weight: 6.8g
Size: 31*15*8.5mm

MODEL: FS-CVT01 Voltage acquisition module

Monitor range of Voltage: 0-100V DC
Power: 4.0-6.5V DC
Weight: 6g
Size: 31*15*8.5mm

I asked FlySky about that last year. They told me the newer sensors can run on higher voltage but since the part number didn't change it's hard to tell if you have the updated sensor.
