tcb22185 03-02-2020 08:39 AM

Im looking for a few RX's if anyone has any they can part with

Got a spare FGr4, the big one but I'm not in the US. Sorry.
Shipping cost from Greece is going to be astronomical and very, very slow to get there.

I ran the NB4 for 2 days and on both models it keeps losing neutral calibration. At first I thought I was bumping the trim button but it was centered. Channel 2 ends up being off by roughly 20 steps. It's always forward and it messes with what you have left for brakes. Any ideas out there?

Have you tried updating firmware and update the receiver? Any issue should be solved by the latest firmware.

How waterproof is the flysky fgr4s v2 receiver? Could i run it wihout the protection of a radiobox in a 1/8e buggy?

Unsure about this build quality of this transmitter... I bought this 6 months ago for use in competitive racing and the TR1 trim button has just broke and no longer works!

other than before they updated the plastic steering wheel connection, this has to be the only time i've seen anyone say anything bad about quality of the radio and usally most people at the track go.. oh its only a flysky untill they hold it and use, "wow its really fast and man it feels good quality"

they do stick up and seem like they would break but nobodys had any issues from what ive seen, we have a couple of these radios and heaps of rx and not had any issues.

Let me know if you need help contacting FS support. Their contact form on their website is the best way in my experience.

After using mine some I wouldn’t say they are the fastest as I could tell a difference between the flysky and a Futaba 4pv used back to back on race day last week at the carpet off-road. Steering was much more crisp with the 4pv on the flysky I had the DR turned All the way up when I switched car over to Futaba car had to much steering had to back the DR down. I did set endpoints the same way on both radios. Just my opinion for what it’s worth.

I had mine break also. I contacted customer support and they said it would cost too much to send me just one button, and that I should try to get one from a local electronics store. No luck as if yet.

Latest problem what I am having with the radio is that it will reset it self and losses all models memories . So far did it 3 times and twice today. I miss my last main because of that . Now I am regretting that I ever purchased this thing. At this point i am ready to throw that in to the garbage and purchase brand radio again! Any thoughts on that?

Do you have the latest firmware? That bug has been fixed.
