I'll have the race director watch it next time I'm there and have him compare the numbers to everyone else's.

You describe the entire car with this statement. Where do you mount it?

He stated that in original post.

Yes, he kind of described it, but didn't say exactly where he mounted it. I just don't see any spot on my car that is away from carbon, metal, or electronic components.

Yes, it's a Hobbywing Xr10 pro 1s stock spec. The laps that it missed were just random during the race, and we were only running 5 minute races, so the battery really wasn't drained much at all. I actually had to discharge it after the race to get to storage level. I'm really wondering if the servo was somehow causing interference with the transponder signal. I have relocated it as far away from the esc, servo and receiver as possible, so I'll see if it's still missing laps next week when I get a chance to get back to the track.

Any ESC worth a damn now a days comes with internal BEC capable of delivering 6V or higher.
also the voltage range for the transponder is 3.0 - 16 VDC. Even if he is powering the transponder directly from the 1s battery it should of still worked.

I'll take pics when I get home of my GT, but it is mostly the same as on my nitro buggy minus the sideguard. On my JQ nitro buggy I have it as stock (on a plastic mount, mounted on its side to the servo plate), on the JQ ebuggy I have it on the plastic sideguard, and when I raced electric TC I had it up front, under the plastic front brace and inside the beginning of the foam. In none of those examples it is on or under an aluminium/carbon plate.

Sorry to hear the problem can't be solved. If it was the old one, I'd say its 99% a broken wire inside the casing. With these new ones I don't have experience, as said check the hit rate and contact Mylaps.
