Default iCharger X6 Balance Issues

I've been having some crazy balance issues as of late with my X6, charging pretty much anything. Basically, when charging at any rate, the charger will not balance the cells and I achieve the same results every time: cell 1 is fairly less charged than cell 2. Were talking ~50-150mv here. When I attempt to balance the batteries, the charger says it's balancing, but absolutely zero charging or discharging happens. For example: charging my LiFe TX battery: started with a 3mv delta, and after charging ended up with a 198mv delta. I set it to balance, and after three hours the delta had not changed. It almost seems as if the internal balance discharge circuit is not functioning properly. This has been the case with my attempts at charging 4 other LiPo/LiHv batteries as well. Every charge unbalances the cells significantly more, and the charge times out as it tries to balance with no improvement.

I've had this x6 for roughly a month, and this behavior is new as of last week... has anyone else experienced these issues? And if so: how did you fix it? This is very agitating!

I think when you are in the charging menu, there is a check box that must be checked. It might be in the advanced portion. I don't have my charger in front of me. But if it's not checked, then you will see the behavior you are seeing.

I took a look, but I don't see anything of that nature. I can also see in the settings that balancing should start when there is >0.2v difference in the cells, and one of my batteries is at almost half a volt difference with 2 charge/discharge cycles, and balancing is still not taking effect. Not to mention, I have not changed any settings from before this started happening to now. Everything is the same... If anyone else has experienced this problem and knows a fix, please chime in!

I purchased this
ISDT balancer ISDT balancer
off Amazon. I am going to use it as second reference to verify the balance issue. If it shows the cells are off, and also balances them fine, I'm going to send an email to the vendor I purchased from(Fantom) and request a replacement. There's no way this X6 should be significantly worse at balancing than my old Hitec, especially because it was not at first!
