Telemetry Sensor (Temperature) for Sanwa RX482 Receiver?

I recently picked up a Sanwa MT44 Transmitter which came with the Sanwa RX482 receiver. One reason I went with this system was the ability to use telemetry. I ordered the Sanwa STS-01T temperature sensor, and while it doesn't specifically mention compatability with the RX482, it doesn't say that it doesn't work with the system.

Anyhow, I received the temperature sensor yesterday and noticed that it uses the small white connector, instead of the larger standard connector that are used for the servos. Is there an adaptor or another Sanwa part number for a temperature sensor that works with the RX482 receiver? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

unfortunately you can't have external sensors with that receiver. You need the rx461 or 462 receiver.

Thanks for making that clear - Sanwa's information on these things is limited, at best, at least in the English language online. In my opinion, it could almost be considered false advertising calling this a telemetry receiver. Oh well.

Next question: If I pick up a RX461 or RX462 receiver, would I be able to use this temperature sensor on a nitro engine?

Those two receivers should do the job though I've never set one up so how it is done is beyond me

Bumping this up, rather than starting a new thread. EbbTide, where you able to figure out nitro engine temperature telemetry? I'm currently in the same boat with my MT-44/RX-482, and I know I'll need to buy a 461 or 462 receiver and temperature sensor.
