Heat and cold are hard on any electronics. you may not see it right away but it will effect the life span over time. I avoid it, never leave any electronics in the car.

Yeah I cleared out a cabinet above my desk that locks up and will put my cars in there when I bring them to work. Everything else fits in my pit bag which goes under my desk.. it's not worth it to me at this point.
