Second RX for second car

Hi.

I have purchased a new RX for my TX (Sanwa M11).
  1. For binding the RX2 I change the model to MODEL 2 in the TX menu
  2. While the RX1 is Off.
  3. The binding between RX2 and TX is ok and the RX2 works properly
  4. But... If I put the RX1 On the RX1 works too (!!!!)
  5. So, both RX works at the same time
I tought when both RX are working, changing from MODEL 1 to MODEL 2, the RX1 would be innoperative, since each RX has got its own frecuency.

Am I doing anything wrong? How to bind each model with its RX?

Thanks for your attention

I can only talk about the M12, but I suppose the M11 is probably similar:

To get your desired result, you have to bind each RX with a different ID number within the model - it's called "Safety Link" on the M12's bind menu. Default setting is 0 (or 1? I don't remember, but it's the same for all initially) for all model slots - if you use different numbers there (e.g. 1 for model #1 and 2 for model #2, since that is easiest to keep organized), each RX will only react if the proper model is chosen on the transmitter.

it will work fine the way you have it now. Just remember to select the right model when switch cars, because of other setting specifics to each model such as servo direction, epa, trim settings etc .....

you can also go back and rebind using a different safety link number if you are able to change it with that transmitter. I know the M12 has that function, but my MT 4 does not.
