Default Problem with steering controlling fan on ESC instead of servo.

I swapped my B6 racing setup yesterday for a drone and a Kyosho Inferno converted to brushless.

The seller showed me the Inferno working with his radio before I took it but I cannot get it to work with my Sanwa MT-S / RX-482.

EDIT I have managed to get the ESC setup so I have throttle but...

When I steer instead of moving the servo it changes the fan speed on the ESC. The seller showed me it steering on his radio.

im absolutely stumped I want to get out and drive it!

Any chance you can post a pic of the ESC/receiver so we can see how this is wired up?

yes picture, please. Most likely, you plugged the wires into the wrong places.Channel 1 is steering and channel 2 is for the esc.
