What feature makes the best Blinky ESC?
I run the Hobbywing XR10 Justock currently. Solid ESC, hasn't missed a beat and the price couldn't be beaten. However, I wanted to know whether all Blinky escs are the same, or are some more "Blinky" than others? If so, what features make them better than the standard ESC's for the class?
I'm looking to upgrade my electronics suite and I want to buy the best (currently).

Lowest "on-resistance" and small size/light weight are worthwhile for stock, though they're all pretty close. I have a couple of Viper VTX10's, the only thing I don't like about them is the brakes (inferior to my 1st gen Novak GTB's, don't do much at slow speeds), but I couldn't have known without driving them before purchasing.

Muchmore has a good stock esc for TC. Hobbywing Stock Pro V4 is basically a more programmable, smaller, lighter, just stock. I think the biggest differences would be the size and weight, and also the number of programmable functions. I don't think there is a best, but I like running the Team Powers Radon V3 is a blinky mode and it works for me. I can also use the same ESC in all my cars so I only have to have one program card. I use their motors, batteries, and servos too.

+1 to brake strength... the brakes on the Justock are decent but the brakes on the V3.1 are better... as far as top speed goes for stock racing, it's pretty much a wash, they've already reached max efficiency with current draw for stock motors.
Only annoyance for me is mounting the Justock in my EB410 tends to cover the blinky light on the side which is pushed up to my Rx so when getting teched you can't see the blinking light easily so keep this in mind when mounting your electronics if your club regularly techs your car.

Hobby Wing has a WiFi module too, but you can't make adjustments when the car is moving with that esc either.
A larger capacitor won't make any more power, but they do help smooth out the brakes and keep the esc a little cooler.
Adjustability and weight are important for a spec esc. Tekin has data logging, which gives you another level of information to help optimize your setup.

Simply having the wifi module in the car should cause it to fail tech, though.

Car doesn't need to move to do it. Have your accomplice switch the settings while you're waiting at the start grid, and switch it back at the end while you're walking down from the drivers stand.
