that means when you punch the brake ...it will slowly engage (like slowly pressing the brake pedal in real cars) at 40... If the Inital brake is set at 0 then the brake is instant.
This happens in all of my hobbywing escs XR10 Pro V3.1 Spec and Orion R101.1 pro

with my trackstar esc, it’s opposite. At 0 setting there is almost no brakes. At 40 I feel the brake instantly

Nice testing. Looks like your average time was just a hair slower after the adjustment. What's your feeling on it overall?

All winter, I found myself slower for few runs after a brake adjustment. Had t find the new braking zone on the layout. Stock was usually 10-12 feet from turn, now it’s more 8-10 feet. It does feel more stable and predictable. And times were more consistent. I’ll take consistent over a random fast lap.
