I'm not entirely sure but I think Futaba is mainly distributed by Great Planes in the US and they are currently not doing so well financially and that might be why the stock everywhere is iffy at the moment as Futaba may need to start distributing directly to shops which would take some time for them to get going.

Yep I want a 4pv but my local guy isn't confident about getting them soon so I think I'm getting a Sanwa mt44 for a few bucks more they seem bullet proof but the recievers are $100 bucks kind of a bummer. I want to shop local to keep things alive at my local track.

Just like the Futaba you don't need to buy the expensive sanwa receivers. For extra cars the $60 sanwa FH3 receivers will be just fine
