Are you referring to the "Monster Max" motor?
If so then yes, that's the most current motor on the market, it's currently ROAR legal and is definitely one of the most competitive motors on the market. Be careful not to confuse this motor with the "Maxzilla", that was an older release. I believe the difference is that the MonsterMax offers a lower resistance stator.

I am running the 17.5 monster max and my buddy is running the certified max.
really good torque and power across the rpm range. he is a little faster than me with the more expensive motor $105 vrs $180(for certified) but im happy and I have approx. 10 17.5t motors this one so far is the best and well worth it
