Default HK EZrun FW Upgrade

Hi guys

Just wondering, I have an original EZrun 60amp ESC. It is on version 1.01 firmeware.

I have the program box to upgrade the firmware, but can this version be upgraded, as all notes relate to being on v2fw.

Thanks

Stu

I would leave well enough alone... seen too many people run into problems trying to upgrade their firmware, regardless of brand... if it ain't broke don't fix it

I doubt you can do anything to get the brake back... assuming you've re-calibrated already. The brake is usually the first to fade and eventually go out completely before the rest of the ESC dies. This is common for overworked ESC's.

You can contact HW to setup an RMA, and they will typically offer you a deep discount for a replacement since your ESC is outside of warranty:

I had an ancient ESC that was discontinued many years ago and they still gave me a discount for a comparable unit, excellent customer service over there
