need new radio 200 budget
I have been using the sanwa mxv and feel its time for a upgrade. Is the mt-s the next best thing or is their a other brand that might give me more bang for the buck? Thanks for any input

I bought the MT-S for my sons and it is a sweet little radio. Not all the bells and whistle, but very solid for the price.
I've tried the KO EX2 and it is also very nice. Different feel and balance in the hand but very good too.
If you already have Sanwa receivers, then nothing wrong in going with the MT-S and you'll be able to keep using your current receivers so it may save you a bit of money.

Sanwa MT4 or MT-S. Hands down the best budget radio out there.

RadioPost TS401 G2 is killer for what one can buy one new for at $116 with 1 G2 receiver. These were close to $500 when first released and the receivers were almost $100. Grumpy s RC Garage has them new at $116.

MT-S is a great radio, but 99% sure the MX-V receivers (FHSS/FHSS-2) won't work with the MT-S (FHSS-3/4).

I would not recommend a product (Radiopost) given that there is almost no support if any in the US.
I have only experience with their 2.4GHz conversion modules, but have never seen a Radiopost radio at the track (here in the US or Europe).
Also with Desoto distributing Sanwa in the US, at least they have decent support, and Futaba, which I love, is so easy to get ahold of.

Yeah, Hobbyforce distributions website is not up anymore, they have been a goner since ~mid 2016.

I actually run one, and love it. I purchased it with the fact that if anything breaks or goes south, support will not be around.
