Default need new radio 200 budget

I have been using the sanwa mxv and feel its time for a upgrade. Is the mt-s the next best thing or is their a other brand that might give me more bang for the buck? Thanks for any input

I bought the MT-S for my sons and it is a sweet little radio. Not all the bells and whistle, but very solid for the price.

I've tried the KO EX2 and it is also very nice. Different feel and balance in the hand but very good too.

If you already have Sanwa receivers, then nothing wrong in going with the MT-S and you'll be able to keep using your current receivers so it may save you a bit of money.

Sanwa MT4 or MT-S. Hands down the best budget radio out there.

You can find a used 4pk or if your lucky a 4pksr in the used section for that price. Alot of them come with a life and carry case already.

RadioPost TS401 G2 is killer for what one can buy one new for at $116 with 1 G2 receiver. These were close to $500 when first released and the receivers were almost $100. Grumpy s RC Garage has them new at $116.

If you are used to the Sanwa, id also recommend the MTS, that is what we upgraded my son to, after an MXV. Fit is spot on.

Who do you send your radio to when something breaks on it?

Do you mind answering my question about radiopost?

If your really sponsored, could you please use your contacts to get the reps to post about questions in the radiopost thread? From everything posted it's a dead brand.

save a little bit more and get the M12RS and be done with it. you'll be able to find one 350-399 new. it'll last you a long time and you wont be disappointed.

I recently upgraded from the MXV to the MTS and love it. The MTS is a much faster radio and I feel it's worth the money.

MT-S is a great radio, but 99% sure the MX-V receivers (FHSS/FHSS-2) won't work with the MT-S (FHSS-3/4).

Yeah, Hobbyforce distributions website is not up anymore, they have been a goner since ~mid 2016.

I would not recommend a product (Radiopost) given that there is almost no support if any in the US.

I have only experience with their 2.4GHz conversion modules, but have never seen a Radiopost radio at the track (here in the US or Europe).

Also with Desoto distributing Sanwa in the US, at least they have decent support, and Futaba, which I love, is so easy to get ahold of.

This is correct. MTS receivers are $$$ too. The cheapest I've seen them is $70.

Agreed, that is the direction I was trying to push the conversation. I would love for radiopost to come back, but appears they are done in the US.

I actually run one, and love it. I purchased it with the fact that if anything breaks or goes south, support will not be around.
