The article you linked to is discussing Lithium Ion batteries. Not Lithium Polymer or High-Voltage Lithium Polymer. The chemistry of Li-Ion is different than Li-Po.

I have the Prodigy Duo Touch 625 LiHV charger and its factory setting stores the batteries at 3.85v per cell...
