MT-S v MT44
#1
Hi guys and gals
right i have the Mt-s and its good, cam with a 482 rx i upgraded from a dx3r
im going to upgrade my sons dx3r now.
My dilemma is this - in the uk the MT-S is £140 the MT44 is £240
i know there are slight differences outside, i folding handle and rubber hand grip on the MT44.... that aside, is there £100 worth of difference performance wise for a 2wd driver ?

-The screen is higher res
-It feels more premium in hand (comfort)
-Low voltage means small batteries = even lighter than mt-s
-The collapsible handle is actually nice
-Supports CODE 10
-Quick setup function gets you bound in seconds
But I would not buy the mt-44 for your son. I would give him the mt-s and buy the mt-44 for yourself

Code 10 isn't really a big benefit but it allows you more control over Sanwa ESC's if you use them in any of your cars, like on the fly setting changes. I have one in a touring car so it's a nice feature for me. But not something many will use most likely.

And if you (and he) want to get into the sport more seriously, and I mean pursue it......He should have a serious radio too, thats his link.....If not though, the MT-s is still a grreat radio. Save the money for tires and batt's.
