Congrats on the ground breaking, looks very promising. Now just have to fit it into my monthly schedule with FRRacers and BARCAR....and the family of course.

Isaac,
I am thinking electric.. but Parts support should be the real determination.
With Dough closing shop, and my regular breakage, What to do? If I do electric I am pretty sure it will be a brushless system..
anyone make a conversion kkit for the K2? LOL

What is the most economical gas class?
on the other hand,
How much does it cost for one of those fast engines for this big track?

And, to Sandra, Chris, Vince, and the rest of you involved, the guys from Richmond do appreciate you running it on Saturdays. Hopefully one day we'll have a permanent site of our own. We wish all the best and I hope to make it up there sometime.

cross posted in the VA, dc,md thread
Sandra, Chris, Savion, Vince and who else uses this ID...
I've talked to a couple of people and have some ideas on covering the drivers stand, pits/etc... I'll post them later or email them. ( IT engineers are a different breed all together )
Where can I get a copy of the building codes/rules/etc for this area?
With a covered/shaded track would there be a problem with gas fumes?
Are you going to have a open house/build day for people who want to race there to go and see it before you get to far into the build?
A meet and greet day might encourage the local racers excited about having a PERMANET local race track.
And lastly, do youse people need any "discarded" items?
My company is getting rid of some data center support equipment ( computer cabinets/etc in Reston, VA ) and if you can use them I can check up on it to see what they got...
