I think this should cut it, although some will say PA, New Jersey, Delaware, DC and Maryland should be included. But I'll let you high paid moderators split those hairs

In theory they will be used as intended. As it says under the forum title the racing forum is to be used to Post and Discuss specific races.

IMO, the track locator forum, based on all the posts I see in the general forums, could simply "go away". It gets very little traffic.

For me it would be broken down like this: (North East guys may have a different insight to their region, specifically)

Mid-Atlantic:

West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey (although, New Jersey North and South would be best - New Jersey South would be in Mid-Atlantic)

North East:

New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine (New Jersey North would be in North East)

Our/My initial idea behind putting all of "you guys" in one region was that there are so many small states clustered in one area. You 'east coast' guys are obviously passionate about defining yourselves as individual states, as much as you can. And that's fine.

Why not just make the forums based on ROAR regions?

Then every one should be able to find where they race or where they may want to race based off that.

Call them just as ROAR does

Region 1 forum

Region 2 forum.

And so forth

I know some will hate this idea because it's ROAR based

But it really seems simple and the work would/has already been done.

I don't know exactly where Bob Barry is from so I don't know which section he would cover, but I've had multiple contacts with him and he's at the top of the list for his region. Others can PM Matt M. or myself if they're interested (including you moviesmaker)

I don't know about anyone else but, for me, I will never race outside of the Mid-Atlantic area. shoot, even some of those states I don't go to or will only a couple times. I think the misconception is how 'small' the states seem. Aside of my local track the next closest is an hour away. The next closest after that is 2 1/2 hour drive. To hit all of the ROAR races in my region, I had to travel over 4 hours to two tracks in Virginia. On a map it may look like it's around the corner but, it ain't.

Because everyone hates ROAR!! Sorry, I couldn't resist.

On a serious note that would open a can of worms way bigger than what we're dealing with here. While maybe not a bad idea we would rather not derail this discussion with that option at the moment..please
