Most people prefer a soft or super soft compound. As far as treads go most prefer a small to medium size block style. Proline Holeshot or Blockade, AKA Impact or Gridiron, and Jconcepts Stackers or Hybrids are a few that come to mind.

I tried a few tires and compounds and proline x4 holeshots were most consistent for me last weekend...it was only in the 60's so as temp goes up maybe x3 compound..hope this helps

Thanks, I was looking at either x3 or x4 compounds after the first reply. might just grab a set of both

Yes its a ROAR race. You can sign up at the track this weekend for a 1 day membership or a yearly one.
