Just a heads up. Joey layout ain't nothing like what the other layouts for tracks are. He is going to use the space to really bring out the true nature of the track. So I figure he is going to bring the huge west coast jumps like he did at trax 70. Your going to need slot of practice to master the track. When I first driven on one of joeys track it was so fun. But it was at the time in my rc life when I was scared of new jumps. It was actually one of the first tracks I ever broke a servo on because he has a lot of fast corners. So make sure your servo is setup up perfectly setup.

Is there any open track time on Sat. for this Race?
Also what type of tire will be close to start with.
Thanks.

I'm sure there will be practice on Saturday for all who are racing. With weather probably being below 60, M4 blockades should do the trick.

Definitely the Saturday before the race we will be open for practice and possibly the weekend before. We will be speaking with the Dirt this week to lock in a date for the track build, we are just trying to figure out what week works best due to the weather. As for the tires, blockades, impacts or any other brand of tires with similar tread patterns.

There is plenty nearby you have the Tanger Outlets which are 2 exits away Checkout this link for restaurants and hotels http://www.tangeroutlet.com/riverhead/area-information

As for as Hobby Shops there are several:
Island Raceway & Hobby
Action Hobbies
Xtreme Hobbies

We will have parts and fuel onsite as well. Just let us know what you need and we will try our best to have it track side for you.

For the warmer months you have:
Splish Splash
There a plenty of Vineyards out East
The Hamptons
Montauk Point
Local Beaches
