These are the rules from Tamiya for general reference:
GT-3, GT-2, GT-1 and FWD must use Tamiya’s pre-mounted and glued spec tire/wheel. Items: 1015 Tamiya Pre-Mounted Tires Type B3 (24mm) and item 1030 Tamiya Pre-Mounted tires Type-A (24mm). NOTE: The B3 tire set (item 1015) comes with 5-spoke, gunmetal color wheels unique to the pre-mount set.The Type-A tire (item 1030) is mounted on a standard 0-offset dish white wheel with hard insert
M-Chassis classes must use the Spec 60D Pre-mounted tire sets available. Items: 1016 (Super Grip Radial w/foam insert-firm), 1028 (60D Type-A w/foam insert soft) and 1029 (60D Type-A w/foam insert hard) All tires are mounted on Suzuki Swift wheels.
I guess FJ, Al or John Brown need to verify the guidelines for this weekend . Sooner the better ,it's getting close to RACE time !!!

We will be proceeding with the standard tire regulations for the remaining events for M-Chassis including the Finals in August. I know the previous batch of control tires were easier to tune the car with but everyone has been able to manage with the current supply. You are allowed to apply CA glue to the sidewalls to stiffen and control edge bite. However, no additional materials may added.
The control tires have been back in stock for an adequate amount of time. We will be proceeding with the standard tire regulations for the remaining events for M-Chassis including the Finals in August, which is as follows:
"M-Chassis classes must use the Spec 60D Pre-mounted tire sets available. Items: 1016 (Super Grip Radial w/foam insert-firm), 1028 (60D Type-A w/foam insert soft) and 1029 (60D Type-A w/foam insert hard) All tires are mounted on Suzuki Swift wheels."
Tampering with the pre-mounted tires is subject to disqualification from the event.
You may use the equivalent height hardware for the steering arm link mount on the M-Chassis. It does not have to be the brass ball stud for the regionals or finals.

The only time you would run kit tires is in the Spec /novice class and in F-1 class when running the F104W kit .

I'm not sure of the quantity ,but tires have been available. John C and myself are just quoting what David Jun has been posting on the TCS thread .
