Man, this has picked up nicely. Freddy's, Tag's and my hope is to make this one of the 'circuit' races for the year. There's really nothing going on during June/July for on-road.

And, yes, CS-27s will be mandatory for all classes except nitro where foams will obviously be permitted. The tires will be available at the track. As I said, all the details will be available by the end of this week/early next week. Mc$ is working on the entry form right now.

Jarrod - Rock on, TPP. I expect a full representation of the team. Make sure you bring the 'lathe-wrecker' himself. Speaking of Lino, where he at? He's been quiet.

Barnacle - Yeah, you'll be there. You best talk to the wife first.

Default batteries - 3700's okay?

just checking whether 3700s will be allowed for batteries?

Also, what about brushless (just in case they actually start selling the ones they ran at the nats) for open mod?

Barrys - Yes, in open mod, we're allowing brushless and GP37/IB36&38 batts.

Since Tag and Freddy already let the cat out of the bag, here is some more information which will also be on the entry form:

Schedule:

T/B/A

Electric: there will be 3, 5 minute rounds of qualifying and then mains
Nitro: there will be 3, 5 minute rounds of nitro qualifying and then 20 minute mains
IFMAR starts will be utilized during qualifying

Awards and Prizes:
1st through 10th place in each A-main (nitro, electric, 1/12th, etc.) in each class will be awarded plaques by McMoney Designs
1st through 3rd in all other mains will be awarded plaques by McMoney Designs
TQ in each class will be awarded a gift certificate towards a free McMoney Designs Pitboard with your choice of logos & design
1st place in the A-main in each class will receive a gift certificate for $50 towards merchandise sold on eXpress Motorsports' wesbite: www.tmxpress.net
Various prizes will be awarded via raffle throughout the day

27 Turn Trinity-based 'Green' eXpress handout motor only - $25 per extra motor (limit one additional motor)

No sponsored (partial or full)/factory drivers allowed in this class. Novice qualification is left at discretion of officials
Handout TakeOff CS-27 premounts are mandatory. These will be available at the track throughout race weekend.

1/10 Touring Car Stock - $45

1/10 Touring Car Open Modified - $40
Any ROAR approved brushed OR brushless motor will be allowed

1/10 Touring Car Nitro - $40
