Practice on Friday has always been at the track owners discretion. In this case, Kevin, the owner has other business responsibilities during the normal daily hours and the track can only be made available from 4-8 on Friday. With the new layout down and the surface being green from the use of equipment, he would not like guys going out on a dry surface and tearing it up. The track will be watered and maintained properly during the 4-8 time period.
