I know your not suppose to use locktight on chassis screws when building a 1/12 pan car, can someone please explain why not?

No idea...I can tell you on my crc 1/12 I had some aluminum screws in aluminum bulkheads/axle mounts/posts ect.
I would never use locktight on a aluminum screw in that situation.
Those things are hard enough to get out without stripping them all out on their own.
Maybe the locktight tweaks the chassis when it gets all gunked up?
Never heard that before.

we are cleaning up the track this sunday - April 7th. gates open around 9am. we have a lot of branches to clean up, and overall clean up work/cutting weeds/etc.

Clean up starts at 9am Sunday. Just got back from seeing a lot of our friends/competitors at Critters today. I threw a beating at my Awesomatix and it survived nearly every wall I drove into.
