Hi guys,
We are just over 3 weeks away from the largest R/C festival of its kind in the US. This should be an awesome time with all the great racing action on track and a ton of other activates to check out between heats. I'm really looking forward to it.
I just wanted to give you a couple of quick race updates.
1) At the request of the racers we have elected to add two additional classes. I'm happy to announce 1/8 Scale Electric Buggy and 1/8 Scale Electric Truggy will now be a part of the Showdown.
2) Also as we get closer to the event we have seen the entries start flowing in at a faster rate. We are just about half way to our limit of 200 racers. If you are planning to attend please take a few minutes and register at www.usairmeet.com.
If you have any question let me know I’ll be happy to help.
Thanks,
Sonny

Hey guys you don't want to miss this, I had an opportunity to go by and check it out and these guys did an awesome job setting the track up. It's the biggest track in New England and offers a nice variety for both 10th and 8th scale racers.
I cant wait to see some of the air shows!

I wanted to make a post to say thanks to everyone who joined us for this awesome event. I have never been to such a complete event. It did not matter what form of RC you were interested in, there was something for you to enjoy. The RC Jets were amazing. We think we have a lot of money tied up in RC Cars. No way when you look at what these guys have with the Jets. Amazing.
Our Showdown event was fantastic, Great racing, a ton of door prizes from the Horizon Hobby family of Brands and good times had by all.
I want to say congratulations and great job by Ryan Pablo and his crew that worked so very hard to build a great track in such short time. From when the city approved the permits until it was race time it was weeks not months to make it all happen and Ryan and his crew did a fantastic job!
I was honored to be asked to be the Race Director for the first event of its kind and I look forward to next years event. Thanks to Sonny Brown for all his hard work putting this all together.
Here are the results from the Showdown and we hope to see everyone next year for another exciting event.
Thanks,
Scotty
