Driver's Stand/ Pit Spaces
We should be building the Driver's Stand and pit spaces very soon. We also need to order the actual track boards as well. It will be top notch once complete. We want to build it right the first time.
Might be asking for volunteers soon if anyone wants to pitch in and help.
Thanks Allen

Can't wait for the track to open rubber tires and mod motors in touring cars sounds like some intense racing action in the making

Photos
Not exciting, but I have a couple of shots of the outside of the new Hobbytown USA, that I took in early January. At the time,
there wasn't enough light reflecting on the track for me to take a decent photo with my tiny flash.
I can relay that the track size is decent, and the surface looked to be tightly packed and should provide very good traction. I love racing outdoors in the summer, but if I have to race indoors I'm glad that it's going to be on asphalt.
I had to reduce the photo size in order to upload/attach them. Hope they turn out ok!

Some questions...
So when is the hobbytown track going to be open for racing?
What classes do you expect will be run?
Do you think there will be a control tire/insert for rubber sedan?
And what about directions to the track from I-270??

I don't know the details for opening of the track, classes, or tire options, but as far as directions...
- 270 North
- 15 North
- 7th Street Exit (pass Hood College Exit)
- At end of ramp, make left onto 7th Street
- go approx. 3 - 5 miles to N.East St. (7th Street dead ends)
- Make left onto N.East Street
- go approx. 1 mile and the shop is on the left
I've actually driven through old town Frederick, but I'm not
sure that it's any faster.
