On the other forum, Kevin mentioned the possibility of a club race on Sunday. I.E. meaning the Regional race could not be done on Sunday.

We are racing Saturday.. ok time to go to work so I can leave at a decent hour.

No rain over night, no rain in the forecast for today, sunshine most of the day. Local forecast for tomorrow is looking better every hour, the high temp is back up to the mid 50's and partly cloudy with a chance of a passing shower. (percentage keeps going down) The track has taken over 20" of rain in the last 30 days and is still in good shape, so a passing shower on Saturday shouldn't hurt us. Practice is on for tonight from 5pm to 10pm. Track opens at 7:30 am Saturday morn. I've studied the forecast closely and I believe we can get it in.

Good luck guys. I wont be able to make the trip this time. I think this may be the first regionals Ive missed since I started. I had planned to be there but there is too much family stuff going on this weekend. Maybe next year we could have the regionals during the summer. With the kids in school and my sons football schedule its tough to get away this time of year.

The Miz's directions have saved me a good bit of time on my trips up there in the past...but it never hurts to have a GPS with you either. I remember its a good bit quicker if you do not cross the river.

The track is ready and open for practice, a few guys here already, lots more on the way. I know weather.com is not looking good, but our local weather is showing a much better forcast. A passing shower and temps in the mid 50's.

The track is dry enough on top right now that we should water the track for practice tonight but we're not going to. Tomorrow should be a good day of racing here. Hope to see you all in the am.
