Back to the weight issue again. LOL

In order to keep things consistent, I'm going to allow a deviation to the weight rule, just as we changed it during the on-road regionals.

We will allow foam tires on sedans with a minimum weight of 50oz. I will have a scale available and we will tech all cars as we did at Jackson. John Tag - can you please bring your ride height gauge- thanks

I will monitor the use and legality of the stock motors used. I may even ask Chris R., region 1 director who is very familar with the electric rules to come down and assist in monitoring the racing.

Carl G.
Region 2 director.

I'll contact Dave this week to see if he can e-mail the results to be posted.

I want to thanks everyone who participated in the 2004 Electric Carpet Regional and especially Chris Rafealli, Region 1 director who can down to assist in Tech.

Having two sets of eyes in tech keep the racing fair and clean and I'm happy to report that we had no issues throughout the day. Actually the event opened our eyes to some clarrifications within the ROAR rules that need to be address. I know that Chris and I will make sugesstion to ROAR.

Also Thanks to Latif Michail from Trinity in helping us with technical support and clarrification relating to the stock motors.

A special thanks needs to go out to all those manufacturers who donated door prizes to this event. Team Associated, Team Trinity and RIP Motorsports.

And thanks to Dave C. from DC Ultra for running a great race and his support. See everyone soon.
