On-Road
When: April 21st 1 day only
Oval
When: April 28th and 29th
Where: Steel City Hobbies – Pittsburgh, PA.
What: Oval carpet racing
This is the 1st combo Nationals SCH has held as we are forming a season-ending big race for everyone to look forward to every year.
Time particulars for Oval:
Friday, April 27th – Open practice for both on-road and oval until 10 PM
Saturday, April 28th – 8:00 AM – Oval Controlled practice
Saturday, April 28th – 11:50 Drivers Meeting
Saturday, April 28th – NOON – Lets go racing!
- 4 qualifiers with resorting after every round
Sunday, April 29th – 8:00 AM - Open practice
Sunday, April 29th – 10:00 AM - Triple A-Mains
On-Road Classes:
Stock Sedan – 5 Minute
Stock 12th Scale* – 8 Minute
Oval Classes:
Stadium Truck* – (no pan car chassis – real truck only) – 4 Minute
Mini-T & 18 T* in same class – no brushless – 4 Minute
4-Cell 1600 Battery – 4 Minute
NASTRUCK Brushless 4300 - No Upgrades – 4 Minute
4300 Pro Stock Brushless (BRL Rules) – 4 Minute
4-Cell Stock – any battery – 4 Minute
4-Cell 19-Turn ARCOR approved motor – 4 Minute
4-Cell Indy Car* – 4 Minute
6-Cell Truck* – (Touring sedan with truck body) – 4 Minute
Busch Class - 3800 Battery or less, Rear of car stays in, any tire. – 4 Minute
1/12 Oval* – 4 Minute
* - These classes will run only with a minimum of 5 entries
Rules:
On-Road: ROAR rules are used as a guideline
Oval: ARCOR rules are used as a guideline. BRL used for Brushless guidelines as well.
SCH reserves the right to changes
Must have 5 cars to make a class.
Must have nominal number of Pre-Entries for Awards
We can create additional classes if notified early.
Awards are based on Pre-Entries
Door Prizes and 50/50 Raffles

If there are enough entries - we will run it! If you can recruit enough drivers, we are good to go! This goes for any class. Typically, we will review once we have a bunch of pre-entries and make up our minds which classes stick, and which are deleted. There is only so much time in the day - and I think we are up to 17 classes! We need to get that down to 10 or so... but Road-Course has as much clout as Oval... no favorites! lol

Road Course portion of the Nat's moving up 1 week!
Due to a date conflict with the Gate, the Road Course portion will be moved up 1 week to April 21st!
Road Course only on April 21st.

On-Road UPDATE
This weekend regular racing for both On-Road and Oval.
We are not going to run Road-Course at this years Steel City Nationals.
We can run a dedicated race this summer for Road-Course if the demand is there!
