Did you see that Losi and HPI both have 5b 4x4's being introduced!! The Losi looks pretty darn good!! HPI is supposed to show off it's 4x4 this weekend!

I havnt got any info on the HPI 4X4 yet but the Losi needs a bigger engine but after people looked at it theyre not sure it can take the power of a bigger engine. The info i got said its awesome around corners but a turd on the straights. A stock 5B SS is smoking it on the straights.

I just don't like the plate design that losi is using for it's chassis. These 26-33 motors put out torque in inch pounds and those plate chassis's will twist! I just hope HPI has a better chassis design. If they can keep with common parts, I will build a pure 4x4 race truck for next season. I have a few parts ready!

I cant wait to see what HPI came up with for a 4X4. Just sucks that they came out with an electric instead of gas like the original.

Yea, I just read the report from Bajafest. The damn thing is electric.. A Losi might be the way to go..

They just put a BZM engine in the Losi. Its getting broken in now so we shall see how much power the losi can take.

I have a modded Zenoha 27.2 four bolt and a Modded CY with a ported ONB 33 Zenoha stroker sitting on my work shelf. Power is not a problem. I just don't care for Losi...

I never did either but im not going electric for 1/5 scale and they turned the Losi into an HPI killer last night with the BZM. I havnt heard anything about it breaking from the power yet.
