Sucks that it rained. The track was good after the weather cleared up. We actually had some good runs.

Man the rain just killed the day.. It wasn't even hard rain.. barely spurs of mist. But enough to ruing the day. We put in 2 qualifying f1 heats and it rained.
I want to thank those that can to have a good time. I believe everyone had a great time practicing in preparation for the heats, to bad we couldn't finish. We had a pretty good turn out. 12 f1's, 18 vta's and a full grid of Touring cars..
The funny thing was that i told Jamming Jeff "Watch me cancel the race and in an hour the sun comes out". Thats exactly what happened. After everyone packed up and most left the scene, The track dried up a little sun came out and we had about 10 to 12 cars practicing for hours..
Well fellas "The Paposwing Rc Blast trophy race" will be reschedule. Stay tune, i will let you guys know in a few days to what date.
Hey Mr. Sharpie, maybe you can cash in that vta rain check..
i also want to thank Jamming Jeff Jones, Barry Lofton, "Thejoeyouknow" Joe Stanio, Rob Sloan, and the rest of the guys for showing up...Thanks for your support.
Mr. Ledesma for his support and words of encouragement.
Rich for the morning help, Rob (tech support) Juan Ruiz for trimming the grass and gdiggy for the pictures, thanks bro!!

Regardless of rain, we still managed to have a good time, especially those laps after it cleared up. The vta guys were out there for a bit and had a freakin blast. What a bunch of good guys we have in our club, thanks for havin' us, Papo!

Ah yes, the joys (and un-joys) of outdoor racing
Inclement weather is the "nature of the beast" when it comes to outdoor racing. A bummer,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,YES! But, what can you do about it, absolutely nothing. The disapointment for race directors and track owners hits them just as hard, if not harder than the racers who incur expenses and expectations of a good day of racing. Oh well, we all just have to suck it up and deal with it. Rest assured, this was not the first race that was cancelled/rescheduled for inclement weather, and it absolutely will not be the last. I know one thing, I am not detered, my passion was not snuffed out by a little rain.
See you guys on the next go round!!!!!
