were going to try to race tomorrow. if we get rain tonight its only going to help the track out so dont worry if it rains tonight. by the hour by hour forecast on my phone we should be ok to race. dont hesitate, come out and have a good time. if we get a few little showers thats only going to help the track so we dont need to water

Weather looks like it's going to hold off, at least until the early afternoon, and then any rain on the map is scattered, so it could be a good day for racing!

Track will be open until it starts to rain or pour, so come on out.

Sure did. Had a small turn out, combined all the short course and 1/8 together and had 2 or 3 heats / mains. Was fun though! Had a bit of rain around noon for about an hour, started by 3 and done before dark!

Oh and I want to congratulate Ray Sundland for kicking my ass in his 4wd short course, despite the fact that I was using a cheater 3S lipo, I still got my ass handed to me.

That's awesome for you guys and sucks for me. I knew I should have come up. Oh well. I'll be up next Saturday and hopefully many more after that.

yea the track was great! we didnt need to water the track and i think it was in great condition all day. no one should be scared of the rain with the soil we have. got a nice little hut for the race director so if it does rain he will be ok. but the track handles the rain extremely well so unless its raining non stop come out. it was a small turn out but still was a good time and great time to get some testing and tuning in during the morning and after the racing was over. the last main was done before dark but we were still running into the dark under the lights until about 1030!

your such a good sport! letting Ray win like that. fortunately for him i had a FAILURE , haha scooby, during the 15min nitro/electric (me) main just after my pit stop batt switch i threw it all away. but thats ok ill get them next time, ill have to get them by 2 laps instead of 1 that way i have more of a cushion after my pit to catch back up.

Half of the point of the long mains is to not only show driver skill, but also equipment preparedness and fitness. Unfortunately, you had a hiccup... it happens. Like what happened to me at Family Hobbies when my pinion flew off.

Its a shame I had to miss the racing, took my lady to Baltimore for the day. but I did get to check out the track thursday at open practice. I had a great time even though I only ran two packs . got some help with my setup from a coupple of guys which was very kool, thank you. I can't wait to get into some heats, should be alot of fun.
